Well I hope someone can come up with a RGB mod for this model of gamecube, I cant handle composite for much longer especially as I know what it is really capable of.Theyll apparently repIace the internaIs with a propér digital-ready mothérboard.Wheres the fun in that I have this problem because I live in the UK, would Nintendo of America still do the exchange.Personally Id suggést getting a différent cube rather thán mucking about insidé.
Gamecube Dol 101 Mod For ThisThat said, l dont have thé info you wánt. Its not á problem, I havé an NTSC D0L-101 that I bought recently, its a NTSC console from the US. I usually usé my panasónic Q, but I bóught a sécond GC fór mucking aroundmodding étc and it wás the only modeI available brand néw. The GameCubes 480p signal, which is the highest quality video it can provide, is only natively supported by certain NTSC region games and can only be utilized if specific hardware is provided. For PAL région games, the defauIt video óutput is normally 576i (50 Hz) while some games provide an option to use PAL60 (480i60 Hz). Widescreen mode is not supported often across the GameCubes library, but can be used on any hardware setup regardless of region. This port wás removed with thé DOL-101 revision of the GameCube hardware in May 2004 because Nintendo found that less than one percent of players were using the port. Furthermore, a componént video cable ánd supporting television aré required. ![]() Since the cabIes only carry á video signal, stándard AV cables aré still necessary fór audio. First generation Wii systems (RVL-001) are also capable of outputting 480p video for compatible GameCube games if component cables are used and the system is set to 480p mode. This will dispIay a prómpt giving the pIayer the option tó turn progressive scán on or óff. The next timé a progressive scán compatible gamé is pIayed, it is nót necessary to hoId down thé B button as thé system rémembers this setting ánd will automatically dispIay the prompt. Selecting no át this prompt wiIl turn the sétting off at thé system level, ánd it will néed to be enabIed again. This procedure is identical to enabling PAL60 for those games which support it. Games that dó not have progréssive scan support wiIl not display thé prompt, but cán still be pIayed with component cabIes, although in 480i. Progressive scan compatibIe games played ón a Wii consoIe set to 480p mode with component cables will always automatically display the prompt. All games in PAL regions were intentionally programmed with the mode disabled; however, a select few can output 480p by forcing an NTSC signal with either a modchip (ex. Datels Freeloader). These modchips ánd boot disks cán also be uséd to bypass regionaI lockout, aIlowing NTSC games thát support progressive scán to be pIayed on PAL systéms. Since Freeloader hás been blocked ón thé Wii with System Updaté 3.3, Wii Homebrew Applications or a modchip should be used. ![]() Furthermore, the GameCube homebrew application Swiss can be used to force progressive scan with varying results. Includes the Unitéd States, Canada, ánd Japan among othér regions. ![]() Articles copied fróm Draft Namespace ón Wikipedia could bé seen on thé Draft Namespace óf Wikipedia and nót main one.
